English: Top end of Brier Lane, off Brookfoot Lane, Southowram. The red sign says 'Road Closed' but there is still a public footpath sign. The closure is by two massive concrete blocks leaving a way through for pedestrians. The preserved gatepost on the left has an OS benchmark low down. Brier Lodge has gone, and the ground under it quarried away. |
