日本語: 墾丁附近の地形。高雄州恆春より鵞鑾鼻燈臺に通ずる鵞鑾鼻街道の略中間に墾丁の部落がある。此の附近の地質は第三紀の砂岩層及頁岩層より成つて居るが,前方に突兀として屹立する山は此の中に挾まれてゐる蠻岩の殘丘である。其の左後方に僅かに頭を出して居るのは,更に大なる殘丘で大尖石と云はれてゐる。更に其の後方に小尖石と稱する殘丘があるが,之等を結び附けると地層の走向と一致する。手前の草原に群れてゐるのは(臺灣總督府中央研究所恒春種畜支所)恆春種畜場飼育の緬羊である。(六角兵吉,臺灣總督府礦務課技師) |
