Español: La obra representa el tránsito de la Virgen María, madre de Jesucristo. En el centro de la composición se encuentra María tumbada en el lecho, con las manos juntas, puestas sobre el pecho, rodeada de los apóstoles. Todos están en pie excepto, uno que arrodillado, aparece a la izquierda de la Virgen en actitud orante. La Virgen viste túnica roja y le cubre un manto blanco con flores en rosa. Los apóstoles visten túnicas con mantos en diferentes colores. Una especie de cortinaje rojo hay encima del lecho.
