Summary[edit]
DescriptionTractor and Plough - geograph.org.uk - 767251.jpg |
English: New Holland tractor and plough. This is the tractor and reversible plough seen in the photograph taken from the top of Merlin's hill. When ploughing, a circular knife called the coulter makes a vertical slit, the plough-share makes a horizontal cut and the mould-board or breast moves the soil sideways and at the same time inverts it. |
