English: Train at Barnstaple Station Barnstaple now lies at the end of a branch line from Exeter. The line used to continue to northwards Ilfracombe, with another route branching westwards to Bideford and onwards into North Cornwall. Parts of these routes now form the Tarka Trail, a traffic-free walking and cycling route. |
