Dans cette fabrication rentre celle des mouchoirs deuil (fondgris , impression noir et blanc), que lon obtient par un légerchangement dans la composition du noir. Au lieu dimprimerun mordant noir, on dépose sur létoffe une espèce de noirdapplication qui se complète par une teinture dans un bain decampêche. Après avoir foulardé les pièces dans un mordant fond gris formé de 6 vol. eau , 4 vol. eau damidon grillé, 2 vol. pyrolignite ferreux à \ 4° ^4B, et les avoir desséchées à la chambre chaude, on les dégorge àleau bouillante dans la cuve carrée, on les rince , on les des-sèche , on les calandre et on les imprime dun noir dapplicationcomposé de la manière suivante : A 10 litres solution de nitro-sulfate ferrique, on ajoute :0l,050 décoction de campêche ; on épaissit le tout avec\ k,840 amidon , et Ton ajoute à froid pour favoriser la dissolu-tion de la laque qui se forme0k,250 acide oxalique. Après un repos suffisant, on rentre le blanc enlevage n° 2,§ 621,
