Description
English: August 1953 issue of Transportation, the magazine of the Connecticut Electric Railway Association, published by the Connecticut Valley Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. The feature story is "Meriden, Waterbury & Connecticut River Railroad" by Glover A. Snow, about the railroad of that name. In the final pages is "The 'New Haven' Leads Again, discussing the railroad's use of Budd RDC cars and Mack railbuses, in particular on the New London–Worcester run. It also includes reprints of a 1952 New Haven Register article about the RDCs, a New Haven Railroad advertisement, and other ephemera.
