Summary[edit]

Description
English: Trevor Basin After crossing the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct the Llangollen Canal takes a sharp left turn; continuing straight on leads into this short arm nowadays used by Anglo-Welsh as a hire-boat base. In fact, the original intention was that this would continue as the canal's main line to Chester but it was never built. Nevertheless, this is a busy place with hire boats continually being shunted around to be replenished with fuel and water - and to have their toilets pumped out - between bookings.
