English: Trig point on Caulkley's Bank near Nunnington This ancient lane runs along the crest of the Howardian Hills' south-facing escarpment between Stonegrave and West Ness, North Yorkshire. There is a modern-looking trig point, and the attractive bench affords stunning views over Hovingham Vale. The only drawback is the somewhat overworked track. |
