Español: En la obra se desarrollan tres pasajes de la pasión de Jesucristo: Jesús llevando la cruz a cuestas, en el panel izquierdo, la crucifixión, en la tabla central, y el entierro de Cristo, en el panel derecho. En la primera tabla, Jesús aparece mientras se dirige hacia el monte Gólgota, donde sería crucificado, y Simón el Cireneo aparece ayudando al Señor a llevar su cruz. En la tabla del centro, Cristo aparece ya crucificado y muerto, y el centurión romano aparece clavándole en su costado una lanza tras de lo cual, según los Evangelios, brotó sangre y agua. Y en la tabla derecha la Virgen María aparece recibiendo el cuerpo de su hijo muerto.
