| Description |
English: Two bakers shops, Briggate, Brighouse. Between the town centre and the suburbs, and presumably relying on trade from employees of surrounding factories etc. These shops have survived the closure of Sugden's flour mills (silos in the background) and the imposition of charges for the parking spaces in the side street beside them (Croft Street). On the left is a strange building with overhanging eaves. This was the Bridge Tavern, which was concerted to flats around the 1980s. |
