English: Type FW3/24 pillbox This brick-shuttered concrete pillbox, located in the dunes above the village of Waxham and unusually facing inland (SW) rather than seaward, is larger than usual, with the longest side of the structure measuring almost 5 metres. The doorway is equipped with a protecting blast wall with steps leading down. The pillbox is documented in the Defence of Britain database and has the reference number S0000832. |
