Abdul Wadud, standing right foreground, the principal staff officer for the Armed Forces Division, Bangladesh, observe casualty triage operations during exercise Vigilant Guard-Oregon at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Ore., May 2, 2012. Wadud, who was joined by Bangladeshi army Lt. Col. Mohammad Tawhid-ul-Islam and Capt. Gazi Mosharrof Hossain, also visited Oregon National Guard facilities throughout the state. Vigilant Guard-Oregon is a disaster-response drill conducted by the Oregon National Guard as part of Ardent Sentry, a U.S. Northern Command exercise focusing on simulated weather, security and disaster contingencies. |
