English: U.S. Navy Chief Mineman Jermaine Busby shows Capt. Jake Washington, commanding officer of Naval Facilities Engineering Command, how to use a simulated 9 mm beam hit pistol March 6, 2009, in the USS Missouri (BB 63) Small Arms Marksmanship Trainer at Recruiting Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill., as Rear Adm. Lee Metcalf, deputy commander of Navy Region Midwest, fires his beam hit pistol at a target. The officers tried out the new Small Arms Marksmanship Trainer after a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the facility, which is named after the historic Iowa-class battleship where the World War II surrender documents were signed. |
