English: Armed Forces of the Philippines Army Pfc. Marlon Cepedoza, assigned to the 552nd Engineer Construction Battalion, paints a wall with U.S. Marine Sgt. Joe Williams, assigned to the 9th Engineer Support Battalion, at San Nicolas National High School in Tapaz, Philippines, during Balikatan 2015, April 22. The engineers, along with U.S. Navy Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5, are painting at the school to prepare for a mural project to be completed by members of the community. Balikatan, which means “shoulder to shoulder” in Filipino, is an annual bilateral training exercise aimed at improving the ability of Philippine and U.S. military forces to work together during planning, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
