Summary[edit]

Description
English: USACE and its construction partners disassembled and inspected parts from the London Avenue Outfall Canal Permanent Canal Closures and Pumps before transporting them to an off-site facility for repairs. The discharge elbow pictured here is from London Avenue PCCP Pump 5 and is one of the parts water passes through from the canal into Lake Pontchartrain during a storm event. USACE and its construction partners will continue to make further repairs in the bays of the London Ave and 17th Street PCCPs while additional parts and equipment are being fixed off-site.
