English: Marines with the communication section of 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit's command element watch as sailors with Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) section, Strike Group Oceanography Team (SGOT), Norfolk, Va., prepare a weather balloon for deployment during Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON)/ Marine Expeditionary Unit Integration (PMINT) training exercise aboard USS Kearsarge near the coast of North Carolina, April 24, 2010. Attached to the weather balloon is a data transmission system which sends information to a receiver on the ship.
