English: 150609-N-YD641-158 WATERS NEAR GUAM Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Luke Mendoza, from Cleveland, signals an MH-60S Seahawk from the "Island Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 as it delivers supplies to the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington during a replenishment at sea with Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Washington Chambers. George Washington and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing 5, are on patrol in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. George Washington will conduct a hull-swap with the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan later this year after serving seven years as the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier in Yokosuka, Japan. |
