English: The guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53) and five Republic of Korea navy ships are underway together as part of exercise Foal Eagle 2016. Foal Eagle is an annual, bilateral training exercise designed to enhance the readiness of U.S. and Republic of Korea forces, and their ability to work together during a crisis. Providing a ready force supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific, Mobile Bay is operating as part of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group and the Great Green Fleet on a scheduled 7th Fleet deployment. |
