English: Damage Controlman 2nd Class Bobby D. McNiff, from Rutherfordton, N.C. , performs maintenance on a water-actuating pipe in a main engine room aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81). Churchill is deployed with the John C. Stennis Strike Group to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions for Operation Enduring Freedom.
