Description
English: SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic (Oct. 14, 2008) Chief Equipment Operator Jerry Greer, project chief for all evolutions at the Soccoro Sanchez Primary School, holds a plaque presented to the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) on behalf of the school for all their hard work. Kearsarge is the primary platform for the Caribbean phase of the humanitarian assistance mission Continuing Promise 2008, an equal-partnership mission involving the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil, France, Nicaragua, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
