English: GEORGETOWN, Guyana (Nov. 12, 2008) Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class William Anderson, embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), cleans mud from a drill bit used to drill holes for new light poles at East Ruimveldt Community Center during the humanitarian and civic assistance mission Continuing Promise 2008. Kearsarge is the primary platform supporting the Caribbean Phase of Continuing Promise, an equal partnership mission between the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil, Nicaragua, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
