English: Uamh an Tartair Karst scenery with the schists and quartzites of the Cromalt Hills being replaced by Durness limestone. The Abhainn a' Chnocain takes an underground route here. The trees in the distance are growing in a hole caused by a cavern roof collapse. The burn returns to the surface at a resurgence, Fuaran a' Ghlinne, a short distance to the east. |
