2 came toUtah, establishing his home in Boxelder county, where he turned his attention to fruitgrowing. In October, 1893, Judge Finn was married to Miss Minnie M. Lowe, a daughter ofWilliam Lowe, of Willard. and to them were born four children. Delia, born in 1894,is the wife of H. E. Hartman, of Los Angeles, California. John L., born in 1896, isnow a member of the Second Division of the American Expeditionary Forces and isserving his country at Coblenz, Germany. Walter, born in 1898, was also a memberof the American Expeditionary Forces and has returned from France, being nowengaged in business in Provo, Utah-. Daniel, born in 1900, died in 1902. The wifeand mother also passed away in the same year. Judge Finn concentrated his effortsupon the rearing of his little family and after they had attained their majority hemarried Mrs. Belle Kirkbride, who is a daughter of Isaac E. He has demonstrated the possibilities forthe growing of many lilnds of fruit in this district and has always employed the mostprogressive and scientific methods in the care of his orchards and the smaller fruit.He was one of the organizers of the Willard Fruit Growers Association and for manyyears served as its secretary and treasurer. Judge Finn has also filled many oSicesof honor and trust of a public nature. For two terms he was a member of the citycouncil of Willard and he has been deputy county assessor. He is now the judge ofthe police court and he has always taken a deep interest in public affairs and is readyat all times to serve the welfare and upbuilding of the community and the interests ofthe people of this district.
