Description
English: Caroline Wilhelmina of Brandenburgh-Ausbach, married George Augustus, Prince Elector of Hanover, in 1705, came to England as Princess of Wales, 1714 and became Queen consort in 1727. Joseph Smith successfully petitioned the Queen for funds to complete the High Street façade of the college. This is a copy of a full-length portrait at Goodwood House.
