English: Vast shingle beach Here the protective ridge appears to not only have been breached but also having been relocated and re-distributed by the North Sea: there is a large gap with an expanse of shingle having been pushed landwards into the salt marsh. The dark spot in mid-distance is a wind-torn tent. The Beach Car Park at the end of beach Road an be seen in the distance. |
