English: More than 500 members of the California National Guard participated in the Vigilant Guard earthquake-response exercise Nov. 12-18, including the 40th Military Police Brigade Homeland Response Force, 9th Civil Support Team, 129th Rescue Wing and 146th Airlift Wing. They collaborated with hundreds of partners from the Nevada National Guard, Arizona National Guard, Army North, Los Angeles County Fire Department, California Governor's Office of Emergency Services, FEMA and a wide range of local organizations such as the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Irvine Police Department and the Orange County Community EmergencyResponse Team.
