Description
English: As part of the International Building Exhibition 2027 StadtRegion Stuttgart (IBA'27), the area known as "Quartier am Rotweg" will be completely redeveloped. Demolition of the existing buildings from 1949/1950 began in December 2023. 230 residential units in various flat types are to be built from 2024. Several buildings are planned: "JOJO", "PIA", "JORDAN" and "ZIDANE" based on designs by ISSS research | architecture | urbanism, "DINE", "JONATHAN" and "ONDINE" based on designs by EMT Architekten and "DIANA", "OLIVE" and "ZOE" based on designs by StudioVlayStreeruwitz. The open spaces are to be designed by TOPO*grafik Paysagistes and Greenbox Landschaftsarchitekten.
Deutsch: Im Rahmen der Internationalen Bauausstellung 2027 StadtRegion Stuttgart (IBA’27) wird das als "Quartier am Rotweg" bezeichnete Areal komplett neu bebaut. Der Abriss der Bestandsgebäude von 1949/1950 begann im Dezember 2023. Ab 2024 sollen ca. 230 Wohneinheiten in unterschiedlichen Wohnungstypen entstehen. Geplant sind mehrere Baukörper, "JOJO", "PIA", "JORDAN" und "ZIDANE" nach Entwürfen des Büros ISSS research | architecture | urbanism, "DINE", "JONATHAN" und "ONDINE" nach Entwürfen des Büros EMT Architekten sowie "DIANA", "OLIVE" und "ZOE" nach Entwürfen des Büros StudioVlayStreeruwitz. Die Freianlagen sollen nach Entwürfen der Büros TOPO*grafik Paysagistes und Greenbox Landschaftsarchitekten gestaltet werden.
