Nederlands: Polygoon-bioscoopjournaal. Nederlandse militairen die zullen deelnemen aan de VN-vredesmacht UNIFIL in Zuid-Libanon, werden goed voorbereid voor hun vredesmissie. REACTIES van diverse militairen op hun uitzending naar Libanon. VERKLARING van minister Scholten van Defensie bij het vertrek van de kwartiermeesters vanaf Schiphol naar Libanon over hun taakvervulling. SHOTS: toekomstige UNIFIL-militairen luisteren naar voorlichting door majoor Roede; oefenen in Vught van het bouwen van een waarnemingspost; een projectiel wordt tot ontploffen gebracht; oefenen in Roosendaal van oprichten van wegversperring met gepantserde voertuigen en prikkeldraad en optreden tegen burgers; training op stormbaan van de commando's in Roosendaal; uitreiken nieuwe UNIFIL-uniformen en -baretten en inentingen in kazerne in Zuidlaren; militaire voertuigen worden ingeladen in vrachtschip 'Dokexpress' voor verscheping; kwartiermakers nemen afscheid van familieleden op Schiphol en stappen in het vliegtuig.
