Description

"Rugged Country: Marine Private First Class W. Arrowwood (Riverside, California) scans the surrounding brush for signs of enemy movement during a sweep mission. Arrowwood, from I Company, 3d Battalion, 5th Marines [I/3/5] was on patrol trying to net enemy troops fleeing from Operation Pipestone Canyon northward to his patrol area (official USMC photo by Sergeant D. E. Kramer)."
