Notes
  • Significance: Structure Z is a collapsed concrete foundation. The foundation is located along the side of the ridge slope south of Horse Thief Draw. The foundation is located approximately 1/3 mile northwest of Superior. The foundation is rectangular in shape with the long axis running east to west. The overall length is 37 feet 7 inches east to west by 23 feet 11 inches north to south. The foundation consists of two rooms, a smaller east room which measures 11 feet 10 inches north to south by 16 feet 1 inch east to west. The depth of the foundation to fill in this room is 5 feet 4 inches. The west room is somewhat larger than the east room being 21 feet 0 inches long east to west by 23 feet 11 inches north to south. This room is filled nearly to grade with earth. A group of dry laid sandstone slabs was placed in the ground near the southeast corner of the foundation. This may indicate that a doorway was present in this corner of the structure.
