Description
Deutsch: Denkmalgruppe 8 zum Brandenburger Markgrafen Waldemar der Große (ca. 1280–1319) in der ehemaligen Berliner Siegesallee. Die Nebenfiguren zeigen den Hochmeister des Deutschen Ordens Siegfried von Feuchtwangen (links) und den Dichter und Minnesänger Heinrich Frauenlob von Meißen. Bildhauer: Reinhold Begas, das Monument wurde am 22. März 1900 enthüllt.
English: Monument in the former Siegesallee in Berlin commemorating to Waldemar, Margrave of Brandenburg-Stendal (ca. 1280–1319). The bust on the left commemorates to the Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights Siegfried von Feuchtwangen, and the bust on the right to the Middle High German poet Heinrich Frauenlob von Meißen. Sculptor: Reinhold Begas, the sculpture was inaugurated on 22 March 1900.
