Object history
Deutsch: Die schwach aromatisch riechenden, leuchtend orangegelben Strahlenblüten (Arnica Montana L.) symbolisieren den landwirtschaftlichen Charakter der Gemeinde und erinnern an die Verwendung dieser zu den Korbblütlern zählenden Pflanze in der Volksmedizin. - Der Herzogshut verweist auf ehemaligen Besitz der Herzöge von Österreich im heutigen Gemeindegebiet und erklärt so den erstmals 1499 schriftlich im Urbar der Herrschaft Waxenberg als "Hertzogstorff" erscheinenden Siedlungsnamen.
