Deutsch: Warnungstafel der Königlich privilegierte Ludwigs-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft. Tafeln dieser Art standen bereits nach relativ kurzer Zeit an Bahnübergängen. Halt-Tafeln dieser Art, die ab der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts aufgestellt wurden, kamen punktuell bis nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg zum Einsatz, dann allerdings nach den Schriftmusterzeichnungen der preußischen Eisenbahn von 1905 bzw. ab Anfang der 1930er Jahre mit der DIN 1451. Die gußeiserne Tafel, die mit Schrauben an einem eisernen Pfosten befestigt war, ist in einer neugotischen Schriftvariante gehalten, wie sie in der Zeit des Historismus gepflegt wurde. Das im Text genutzte Wort „Locomotive“ wurde bis in die ersten Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts verwendet, dann aber sehr schnell durch „Lokomotive“ ersetzt. Die hier gezeigte Warnungstafel befindet sich im Original im Verkehrsmuseum Nürnberg. |
