Description
English: Waterfall, Chantry Lane The river Stor which emerges from the Downs near Chantry Lane, tumbles over the edge of the clay stratum to the next one of greensand. In the 18th century the river powered a fulling mill where woollen cloth made from the fleeces of the sheep on the Downs was treated.
