Like all the sportsmen of Ari-zona whom I have had the good fortune tomeet they were a jovial lot, and our ridetogether, which lasted nearly half a day,was indeed a pleasant one. When we partedat the Douglas junction I lined them up fora photograph. At Naco we had to stay all night, and Ihave been addling my brain ever since tofind what excuse it has for being on themap. Like all the border towns it has itsAmerican and Mexican sides, and possiblythe purpose of each is to keep the otherfrom stealing the boundary monument. Naco has no hotels and the traveler has todepend on the rooming houses. It has norestaurant worthy of the name, but it hasthe champion waiter of all Arizona.
