English: Westminster Cathedral The remarkable edifice of the Roman Catholic Westminster Cathedral seen from Ambrosden Avenue. It was designed in a Byzantine style by Victorian architect John Francis Bentley and completed in 1903. The bell-tower is 284 feet high, and the cathedral is said to be comprised of 12,500,000 bricks. |
