Description
Deutsch: Innenansicht der Gardekirche am Rennweg im 3. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Landstraße.
Unter Nikolaus Pacassi ab 1755 als Spitalskirche errichtet und am 1. November 1763. Joseph II. löste 1782 das Spital auf und quartierte die Polnische (Galizische) Leibgarde ein. 1897 wurde die Kirche den polnischen Resurrektionisten übergeben. Das Hochaltarbild „Christus am Kreuz" schuf Peter Strudel. Am 12. September 1983 wurde die Kirche von Papst Johannes II besucht, der die neue Kirchenorgel einweihte.
