English: Worksop railway station, Nottinghamshire Opened in 1849 by the Manchester Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway on the line from Sheffield to Lincoln. The MSLR became the Great Central Railway in 1897. View west towards Shireoaks and Sheffield. The station buildings were extended in 1900, and until 1920 it had an overall roof. As part of a 2018 refurbishment, the station was repainted in Great Central colours and a new nameboard attached, far left. |
