English: Wrong side of the tracks? The only 'BEL' I can find 13 miles away is Belford, to the east-south-east - and similarly the only 6-mile-distant 'COR' is Cornhill, which is westward ... but this milepost is on the northern side of the road, one mile from Ford: following the directions indicated would lead one on something of a wild-goose chase! The information would be very accurate, if only it were turned through 180 degrees, and placed on the opposite side of the road.
