2009[编辑]

Someone should reinsert Greenland.

Sure, Greenland should be re-added to the map — and in green color, since its relations are coordinated by Denmark, which recognizes Kosovo as an nation.--MaGioZal (talk) 02:55, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[回复]
We should use the map from Image:BlankMap-World6, compact.svg to not only make Greenland show up, but to still us this CSS to mark countries as yes or no with regards to Kosovo. User:Zscout370 (Return fire) 07:37, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[回复]

so Svalbard and Greenland recognize Kosovo, eh? What about Antarctica? --85.3.150.253 20:53, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[回复]

Svalbard is a part of the Kingdom of Norway, which recognizes Kosovo. Greenland is a member of the Kingdom of Denmark, which recognizes Kosovo. Antarctica does not belong to the sovereign territory of any country (several generally unrecognized claims notwithstanding), therefore it cannot recognize Kosovo. If you are asking why it is not on the map, the answer is that there is no particular reason, it was simply missing on the blank world map (File:BlankMap-World6, compact.svg, IIRC) upon which this map is based. EmilJ (talk) 12:27, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[回复]

Again: Someone should reinsert Greenland. --91.16.89.201 16:38, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[回复]

Borders[编辑]

Why are the country borders black? Cflm001 (talk) 02:31, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[回复]

For consistency with File:CountriesRecognizingKosovo.png, and because it looks better. EmilJ (talk) 12:11, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[回复]

Update Comoros[编辑]

Please update the countries as Comoros has recognized Kosovo[1] --Lemur12 (talk) 01:43, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[回复]

British territories and French oversea departements[编辑]

The British territories and French oversea departements are added to the map as if they did not have recognised Kosovo. This is wrong. They are not able to deciede theirself.

Add Switzerland[编辑]

Switzerland was one of the very first countries to recognise Kosovo (http://www.swissinfo.ch/ger/news/schweiz_europa/Schweiz_anerkennt_Kosovo.html?siteSect=125&sid=8789706&cKey=1204192360000&ty=st&rs=yes)

We have them already, the map is just too small to see. User:Zscout370 (Return fire) 18:30, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[回复]

Andorra[编辑]

I don't see Andorra being added. I only see the note that it should have been added.

It has been added. Refresh the image, although it does not always work. Apparently it takes some time before the cache is updated. Download the file and open it, and you'll see that Andorra is actually added. SPQRobin (talk) 21:48, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[回复]

France has been removed from the green part[编辑]

When the South-Sudan was added on the 09/07/2011 version, France disappeared. Can someone fix that please ?

Oman and Gvinea Bissao denounce their recognition[编辑]

Also they stated they didnt even do it, just Kosovo "government" put them on wannabe list. So update map. --94.140.88.117 06:51, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[回复]

That's not true. Jeremic said that, but at this moment the Omani government has no said anything. There is a huge discussion at w:Talk:International recognition of Kosovo and at this moment, they have kept the Omani recognition. I think we should keep the image according to that discussion... if tomorrow appears the letter of de-recognition, then we should change it. --B1mbo (talk) 21:49, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[回复]
There cant be letter of de-recognition if they didnt even recognize it. Do You understand situation ? --Mile (talk) 16:20, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[回复]

South Dalmatia is a part of Croatia[编辑]

South Dalmatia is a part of Croatia and should be filled green.

South Dalmation is in green.--Никола Стоіаноски 19:25, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[回复]

Mali[编辑]

On 29 August EmilJ removed Mali, per the notification that they had not recognized. However, EmilJ seems to have accidentally readded Mali when adding Papua New Guinea on 4 October. I have no idea how to edit an svg file, so I am hoping someone (possibly even EmilJ) can correct this. --Khajidha (talk) 14:09, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[回复]

Done. Mali is removed.--Никола Стоіаноски 17:00, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[回复]
Sorry, thanks for fixing it.—Emil J. 13:58, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[回复]

Pakistan[编辑]

On 21 December 2012 Pakistan recognised Kosovo, you have to add it. --Edoardo Cavaleri (talk) 15:01, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[回复]

MacedonianBoy, please, do not use Inkscape to update the file, as it hard-wires the new colour into the actual map snippet instead of updating the CSS list of recognizing countries (and adds a lot of irrelevant Inkscape-only crap into the file), hindering further maintenance. There is a boiler-plate warning on the description page. Thanks.—Emil J. 14:13, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[回复]
I did not understand what I did wrong. What do you use instead of Inkscape?--Никола Стоіаноски 19:43, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[回复]
Your favourite text editor (notepad, vi, emacs, or suchlike).—Emil J. 13:33, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[回复]

Burundi withdrawn.[编辑]

Please update. Dreigorich (留言) 21:30, 6 April 2018 (UTC)[回复]

Brunei[编辑]

Brunei recognized the Republic of Kosovo since 2012 and it never withdrew its recognition, but in this map is is grey instead of green, I suggest to add the Sultanate of Brunei among the green countries.

ALBA-CENTAURI (留言) 13:32, 23 January 2019 (UTC)[回复]

Brunei[编辑]

Brunei recognised the independence of Kosovo. However, on the map it is grey when it needs to be green. Please someone edit it and make it green. Thanks! Albaniakosova14 (留言) 16:19, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[回复]

Comoros, Grenada, Lesotho, Palau and Suriname + Solomon Islands[编辑]

The following 5 countries have announced withdrawal recognition of Kosovo in the past, but they eventually announce recognizance, thus nowadays, they recognise Kosovo yet again. However, they are still marked with red in the map. Please update the map with these 4 countries marked with green.

In addition, Solomon Islands are not marked, but they are a country that used to recognize Kosovo but eventually withdrew recognition, and no longer recognize Kosovo to this day. Please make sure to also mark Solomon Islands with red.
