Image flipped?

[edit]

I think this image is flipped horizontally, and this is actually on the intersection of Decatur and St Peter's street. The road seems to be on a slight grade, like St Peter's still is today, and while it's a bit hard to make out, the sign in the center appears to say "TRUCK DETOUR" when reversed. 103.8.140.19 09:33, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed per Google street view even if St Ann looks the same. --Achim55 (talk) 11:24, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Well spotted! The old color slide photos were easy to get flipped - I've noticed and fixed a few in the past but didn't notice this one, since the upper and lower Pontalbas look essentially the same mirroring each other. I flipped the image to display correctly (don't worry if it doesn't display differently immediately - I've noticed sometimes cache issues take a while for changed versions to display). I also corrected from St Ann to St Peter Street. Cheers! Red beans & ricely, -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 14:42, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
