Disputed territory
[edit]A lot of disputed territories are not marked as such. These include the Halaib Triangle, Taiwan, Crimea, and the southern Kuril Islands. — Preceding unsigned comment added by KnolGua (talk • contribs) 21:59, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
- Western Sahara is the only disputed territory in the world listed separately by the United Nations. The United Nations considers the Halaib Triangle to be a part of the Sudan, Taiwan a part of China, Crimea a part of Ukraine, and the southern Kuril Islands a part of Russia. 2001:8003:9100:2C01:D8C5:91F5:82F8:EFF4 15:21, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
