Notes The hoard was found in the swampy valley of the Vistula river in 1914, hence, most likely, it is a votive offering drowned in the water. The hoard was originally composed of 304 completed and semi-processed amber beads (today 253), 11 fragments, and 18 lumps of raw amber.
