Description
Deutsch: Dornier Do 23, '32+626', II./KG 153 (6. Staffel) in Finsterwalde, ca. 1936-37. Die I./KG 153 (1. bis 3. Staffel) war um 1936-37 in Merseburg stationiert.
Vom 1. April 1936 bis zum 1. Febr. 1938 spätestens war die I./KG 155 mit Stab und 1. bis 3. Staffel in Giebelstadt, südlich Würzburg stationiert, wobei die Staffeln ebenfalls mit dem mittl. Bomber Dornier Do 23 ausgestattet waren. Allmählich wurden modernere Flugzeugtypen zugeführt, so dass sich am 19./20. Juni 1937, dem Tag der 1100-Jahrfeier des Marktes Giebelstadt bereits Dornier Do 17 E-1 in der 1. Staffel des KG 155 befunden haben. Für die 2. Staffel sind weiterhin Do 23 Bomber nachgewiesen, der damalige Flugzeugbestand der 3. Staffel/KG 155 ist noch unbekannt. Im Rahmen der 1100-Jahrfeier waren Flugvorführungen mit den o. g. Flugzeugtypen, sowie mit Junkers Ju 52 der am 1. April 1937 in Illesheim, Lkr. Neustadt a. d. Aisch-Bad Windsheim aufgestellten III./KG 355 angesetzt. Die III./KG 355 verlegte am 1. Juli 1938 von Illesheim auf den Fliegerhorst Giebelstadt. [1]
