Català: Escut d'Alacant (l'Alacantí, ca:País Valencià) segons la proposta de Félix Ortiz de 1990 on prescindia de cap acrònim a l'escut, perquè considerava que n'eren afegitons personals dels diferents cronistes antics de cada època.
Español: Escudo de Alicante (España) según la propuesta de Félix Ortiz de 1990 donde prescindía de cualquier acrónimo en el escudo, ya que consideraba que eran añadidos personales de los diferentes cronistas antiguos de cada época.
