Description
Español: Bandera del municipio de Guaranda (Sucre).

La bandera consta de cuatro colores:
1. CAFÉ OSCURO O SIENA TOSTADA: En la parte superior que representa al Río Cauca con sus aguas turbias oscuras que bañan las riberas de Guaranda, decoran el paisaje montañoso y los campos guaranderos. Significa fluidez, corriente de vida y energía, esconde misterios, exalta las buenas obras y la sabiduría.
2. AMARILLO: En la parte central, representa las riquezas de nuestro pueblo, la agricultura, la pezca, la ganadería. A través de los tiempos una espiga dorada alimentará el corazón de nuestros campesinos.
3. VERDE: En la parte inferior, representa la naturaleza que nos rodea, el verdor de nuestros campos, la fertilidad de nuestros suelos y la esperanza del pueblo guarandero.
4. BLANCO: En forma de aro, representa la pureza del viento y de nuestras tierras, la humildad de nuestros campesinos casados con un anillo blanco, como insignia de paz y convivencia familiar. La hoz significa fuente de trabajo y coraje de supervivencia.
