(Feb. 2, 2016) Dr. Lonnie Johnson, president and CEO at Excellatron, but probably best known as the inventor of the Super Soaker, talks about global energy and environmental challenges as part of the Office of Naval Research's (ONR) 70th Anniversary Edition Distinguished Lecture Series and celebration of Black History Month. ONR is celebrating 70 years of innovation in 2016. For seven decades, ONR through its commands—including ONR Global and the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C.—has been leading the discovery, development and delivery of technology innovations for the Navy and Marine Corps.
