Deutsch: Ostansicht der Baustoff-Industrieanlage (Zentrale & Lieferwerk) „Baumit“ in Wopfing, ein Ortsteil in der niederösterreichischen Marktgemeinde Waldegg.
In Wopfing wurde die Kalkgewinnung erstmals 1438 erwähnt, 1911 wurden die Wopfinger Stein- und Kalkwerke in das Handelsregister eingetragen und 1980 das Zementwerk eröffnetː [1]. 1988 wurde „Baumit“ als gemeinsame Dachmarke der beiden Baustoffunternehmen Wietersdorfer und Wopfinger gegründet. Nachdem Wopfinger 2017 die Wietersdorfer Baustoffsparte übernahm, wurde das Unternehmen mit Jahresbeginn 2018 zur Baumit GmbH umfirmiert. Das Unternehmen steht direkt und indirekt zu 100 Prozent im Eigentum der Wopfinger Stein u. Kalkwerke Schmid & Co. KG mit der Schmid Industrieholding GmbH als Kommanditisten. Die KG besitzt auch 100 Prozent der Baumit Beteiligungen GmbH, über die die Auslandstöchter gehalten werdenː [2]. English: Baumit industrial plant in Wopfing. |
