In september I will replace {{Coleoptera}} by {{Taxonavigation|include=Coleoptera}}.

So there is no need to modify Coleoptera for supertribus.

Errors

Karl, now errors show up in very many category pages, see for example Category:Achardella or Category:Acalodegma or Category:Holopterus. Pinging Liné1 as well. --Achim (talk) 20:01, 6 August 2018 (UTC)

Im working through fixing the linking. But the Coleoptera template is not the standard for commons taxonav templates, so I changed it to match the other insect orders and rest of the taxonavigation trees.-Kevmin § 22:59, 6 August 2018 (UTC)

Karl, I see, but there is another big problem, I don't know if it's related to this one: Hundreds of these categories seem to be empty now, so they might get deleted. They shew up on this list. --Achim (talk) 08:10, 7 August 2018 (UTC)

Please, don't modify this template anymore.

You are no good enough in wikimedia syntax.

This template is heavily used, but you did not even had the idea to check what effect your changes had.

The effect was desastrous.

Once you detected your error, you did not have the good sense to revert your changes on all your modifications!

I have to do the cleaning.

Almost a vandalism.

Please stop making false accusations of incompetency and vandalism. it was not disastrous, and if you had taken any time to look, you would have seen that I had already self reverted the change. The change WILL need to be made though as the current template is not functional to nearly the same effectiveness of template:taxonavigation. You did not do cleaning, you reverted without actually looking at what was being done on each page. just as not acceptable as what you accuse me of doing. Also do not accuse people of vandalism when its clearly wasnt.--Kevmin §

Well, I touched about 1000 categories by bot to let them show up in Category:Taxon categories again (that's a known caching problem). So for now there is no risk that they will be deleted for being empty. Best, --Achim (talk) 06:54, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
